Sports
At Samui Bilingual School, we are convinced of the benefits of regular physical activity for the healthy and balanced growth of children. From an early age, our students engage in a variety of sports activities, tailored to each stage of their development, whether they are in kindergarten or primary school.
Motor and Social Development through Sport
Activities begin at three years old with games aimed at improving movement mastery, balance, and coordination. These fundamental experiences include walking, running, jumping, as well as manipulating and throwing objects, promoting the development of a basic motor repertoire.
Engagement in sports from kindergarten also promotes the social development of children, their learning of collective life rules, the stimulation of their creativity, and their ability to make decisions.
Relaxation and Well-being
Our program includes weekly sessions of yoga and Pilates, enriching the physical and mental well-being of students from kindergarten onwards. These practices help children improve their attention, learning, and overall well-being.
Athletics and Sports Discovery
Athletics, introduced from an early age, allows children to practice the fundamental movements of running, jumping, throwing, and serves as a basis for the discovery of other sports disciplines. In primary school, this initiation expands to include effort, endurance, and team spirit.
Circus and Bodily Expression
Baby Circus allows the youngest to develop their motor skills and self-confidence through playful circus activities. Older children continue this exploration, enriching their bodily expression and sharing emotions with those around them.
Swimming and Aquatic Benefits
Swimming lessons start from three years old, promoting not only motor development through the mastery of movements in water but also the acquisition of essential life skills like water safety. Swimming sessions allow children to improve their coordination, endurance, and strength in a fun and safe way.
Introduction to Boxing
Boxing, introduced in a playful and educational manner, offers multiple physical and psychological benefits, contributing to the development of motor skills, reflexes, agility, and strengthening children's self-confidence.
At Samui Bilingual School, we believe in the importance of physical education for the integral development of the child, offering a balance between physical, emotional, and social well-being, and embedding these values at the heart of our educational project.
